To keep your machine in good operating order, it is important to have your machine cleaned and adjusted each year by an authorized technician. See our Clean, Oil & Adjust service.

Our goal is to have your machine cleaned and returned to you in approximately one week. If parts must be ordered for Bernina machines, we aim to have your machine repaired and returned to you in approximately two weeks. It is important to Bernina Sewing Center that you are without your machine for as short a period of time as possible.

Dos & Don'ts

* Do oil your machine as needed.

* Do use straight, sharp needles.

* Do use good quality European thread in your machine.

* Do use the vacuum attachment to keep the lint and dust out of your machine.

* Do keep your machine plugged into a surge protector at all times.

* Do have your machine serviced at least once a year with Clean, Oil & Adjust service provided by a certified Bernina technician.

* Don't try to repair your machine.

* Don't leave your machine in the heat for long periods of time.
